An Enchanting Tuscan Themed Wedding at Hodsock Priory: Celebrating Love and Diversity

A Tuscan themed wedding photo shoot at Hodsock Priory set the stage for a truly enchanting celebration of love. The picturesque, exclusive use wedding venue, nestled in the heart of the Nottinghamshire countryside, provided the perfect backdrop.

Hodsock Priory is one of our most favourite wedding venues as the terrace lawns are perfect for either our Wedding or Wedding PLUS mobile cray golf packages. The Priory and grounds are truly magical and the team of event managers are there to ensure that the only hitch that happens on the wedding day is the happy couple tying the knot.

When the team at the Priory asked us whether we’d help out with their Tuscan themed wedding photoshoot, we jumped at the opportunity of getting married again!

With a keen eye for detail and a discerning sense of style, the venue dressers, Keith Woods Weddings & Events, transformed Hodsock Priory into a Tuscan paradise. The enchanting decorations, rich with warm hues and rustic charm, transported guests to the sun-kissed landscapes of Italy. The outdoor crystal chandeliers added an extra touch of elegance to the wedding breakfast table.

No Tuscan celebration would be complete without a sumptuous feast. The resident chef at Hodsock Priory, Sarah, crafted a menu inspired by the flavours of Tuscany.

Adding a touch of sweetness to the occasion, Pink Peppercorn Cakes delivered a masterpiece that left everyone in awe. Their wedding cake, decorated with olive branches (the symbol of peace and friendship), captured the essence of Tuscan romance. The flavours danced on the taste buds, a testament to the expertise and creativity that is Pink Peppercorn Cakes.

Dove & Lace, the wedding stationer, crafted elegant menu cards and stationery that perfectly complemented the Tuscan theme. Their exquisite designs, inspired by the rolling hills and vineyards of Tuscany, set the tone for the romantic affair and added a touch of sophistication to the overall aesthetic.

Stu Ganderton, the renowned photographer, immortalised every moment of this extraordinary day. With his artistic vision and attention to detail, he captured the raw emotions, tender gestures, and genuine joy shared by the couple and their loved ones.
